Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 1 June 2026

SHIFT-SU is committed to providing an equal, accessible experience to all users, including people with disabilities.

We work to keep the site accessible and to improve it on an ongoing basis, as part of our commitment to a clear experience that works for everyone.

Accessibility level

The site was built with the goal of meeting Israeli Standard IS 5568 and WCAG 2.0 Level AA where possible, in line with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) Regulations, 2013.

Accessibility is implemented in the site's own code, and does not rely on a plugin or external component alone.

What we made accessible

  • Full keyboard navigation across the site.
  • A “skip to content” link at the top of every page.
  • A clear, visible keyboard focus indicator.
  • A semantic heading structure and content landmarks.
  • Alternative text for meaningful images, and decorative images marked so they are not announced.
  • Attention to text colour contrast, alongside a dedicated high-contrast mode in the accessibility tool.
  • Clear form-field labels with error messages tied to their field.
  • Support for the system “reduce motion” preference (prefers-reduced-motion).

The accessibility tool

An accessibility menu is available from a dedicated button and lets you, among other things: enlarge text, switch to high contrast, apply grayscale, use a readable font, highlight titles, underline links, increase text spacing, show a reading guide, enlarge the cursor, reduce motion, and reset the settings. Your choices are saved in your browser for future visits.

This tool is a convenience layer only. The site's underlying accessibility is built into the code itself and does not depend on it.

Browsers and devices tested

The site was tested on current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari, on desktop and mobile devices, and with full keyboard navigation.

For the best accessibility experience we recommend using an up-to-date browser version.

Known limitations

Some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible, or may include third-party components not fully under our control. We continue to review and improve the site on an ongoing basis.

If you encounter an accessibility issue, we would be glad to hear from you and will work to fix it.
